Late autumn is the time of year I live for.  This particular night found me climbing up an embankment in order to position myself on top of an abandoned wooden railroad trestle. While timing my exposure I noticed my watch's hour hand was straight up at midnight.  The perfect title for the piece.  As a bonus, I was not alone that evening, being kept company by an unseen presence boring holes through the back of my head as I worked.  I could hear it behind me in the pitch darkness pacing back and forth on a bed of decomposed leaves and twigs. Whatever it was had weight - a lot of weight.  Unsettling?  Oh, a tad.  A creep fest?  You bet and wonderfully so. Gawd, I love what I do.
