This image was taken looking east as the moon rose over LaConner, WA.  Cars cruising the waterfront had to be flagged out of the scene during the exposure as well as passing boats in order to capture that sense of stillness.  Of course trying to capture a full, round moon during a long time lapse exposure is another animal altogether.  Dealing with all these variables during a single shot requires timing, concentration, prayers, and a bit of luck - though I'm uncertain if that's the right order.
